JustRite MEGA BLOG HOP - blog candy

I am honored to be part of the Huge JustRite MegaBlog hop. Be sure to check out all of the blogs as there are a ton of them . The stamps and finished projects are amazing (see list below)

I am new to the JustRite stamps. I absolutely love their system. You can mix and match the images and borders to make all sorts of image combinations! It is so fun, the sayings or borders fit perfect around the images. They also fit all of your Spellbinders nesties (which I didn't use today). You gotta try these stamps... I am incorporating some of them into my classes so watch for them in April.

This is a new stamp from the Friendship set... I LOVE THE SAYING! Life really is too short not to take time to enjoy those things that make you smile. Trust me, I will be smiling and laughing this week while I am spending time with my son Austin in SW Washington.

This card was extremely easy to color. NO shading, no shadowing and no blending! Just quick and easy coloring and I love it!

Be sure to visit all of these blogs for amazing samples made with JustRite stamps!

BLOG CANDY!
One random blogger will win a Copic 36 Marker Wallet by leaving a comment on my blog. (Sorry, it's just the wallet to store and carry your markers... not 36 markers!) Just a little something to add to the blog hop fun. Winner to be posted after I return from my trip on April 2 (be sure to leave your email addy so I can contact you!)

Sweet little girl!

My sweet little blondie

I love this little girl... I used opaque white on the polka dots and smashed them in the scanner before they were dry... but I still love her. She is from Stampavie.
It was only a few months ago that I hated working with red. I have recently noticed that I am totally drawn to Red when I go to color things. I have learned to start off with R22 (Light Prawn) before I add R24, or R27.
When using dark colors like dark gray (shoes) or Red (dress) I color my image without being very heavy at the edge near the lines. If need be I do a quick sweep around the edges when I am done to make sure that all the white spaces are covered. The background is lightly airbrushed with the Copic Airbrush System.

Tip of the Day: DONT GET THE EDGES OF YOUR IMAGE VERY WET WHEN USING RED OR IT WILL FEATHER OUTSIDE OF THE LINES!

My favorite thing for dinner is RESERVATIONS

What a darling set from Our Craft Lounge stamps. The name of the set is Hot Betty.. you should see all the cute things you can do with this set. At first I thought the set was silly, but it is so fun and my class attendees seem to love it! I made a Joy fold card (a versions of a tri-fold). It is a very fun card...... I actually have reservations for diner this week! (note: the saying on the inside says RESERVATIONS)

Here she is..... Hot Betty herself.
Come back tomorrow for a huge blog hop with Stamp Rite

Stampavie's New Arrival

Isn't this the cutest! I made this card for my cousin's baby shower that I was unable to attend. RATS! I guess I will take it and her gift to her when the baby arrives.

I stamped the image twice so that I could add a second layer to the leaf. I just love how this card tuned out and can't wait to give it to Anna.

Stamp is by Stampavie! It was a ton of fun coloring with my Copics.

Skateboard Dude!

I love to find cute images to make boy cards. I just love this Skateboard Dude ..... from Stampavie. I used this image in many of my classes this month and he was a huge hit. The image will be arriving soon to many local stores including Scrapping in the Hills, and Collective Journey.
Yep, he is colored with Copics. I just love how you can shade and play with the colors. I painted the background with the Copic Airbrush system and a B41 marker.

Finally! Some new cards to share

Wow... have you ever said, "I think next month will slow down" If you have, dont believe yourself! LOL --- I think it's more like each month gets busier!
Just wanted to share a few cards before leaving to Portland Oregon to teach some classes and visit with my son Austin. Be sure to come back tomorrow for a huge blog hop with Stamp Rite.
My classes are booming and I am teaching in several So cal locations now including Oceanside, phoenix, portland oregon, salt lake city, and vegas in the next two months. Check my class list at the side of my blog for a complete list (it changes daily).
This image is from Stampavie... I just love their images as they remind me of Holly Hobbie, and happy times.

Copic Techniques Class

Hello,

Well, today I thought that I would introduce a class of mine that is EXTREMELY popular in several southern California stores. It is my COPIC TECHNIQUES CLASS. Below is a description of the 3 hour class. If you are interested in taking a class or scheduling a class at your store, please contact me via email. Jenniebstampin@aol.com Classes are listed on the right side of my blog under current classes.

NOTE: I am expanding the areas that I teach this class to the areas in which I do certification classes. IE: Portland, Oregon, Phoenix Arizona, Salt Lake city, UT, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and so many more places - watch my blog for updates.

This is a fun and energetic class packed with information on how to use your Copic markers. In this class each person will receive a special Copic Technique workbook written by me. We will work in this book and practice each of the below techniques. This book becomes a wonderful resource tool to use at home. You will also have several extra images in the book so that you can continue to practice each technique after you go home. As practice makes perfect!

Here is a list of some of the things we learn in class.

2. How to refill markers & replace nibs (demo)
